Marvel Jokingly Blames 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Trailer Leak on Hydra

Originally, the trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron was scheduled to premiere during next week's episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, the ABC series that pits the titular agents against the devious forces of Hydra. However, there was such fervor among the Marvel fanbase that the studio ultimately released the trailer online a week early.

Or did they?

Apparently, Marvel's hand was forced by the trailer initially leaking earlier than planned, leaving the studio with little choice but to put the whole trailer online. But who would do such a thing? Marvel is jokingly playing along with its own universe, by suggesting Hydra was behind it all.

Not many companies would have this sense of humor about internal leaks, but one would think The Avengers sequel is going to do record-breaking business regardless of whether or not fans saw the trailer earlier than Marvel wanted them to.
