Martina McBride Believes In Acceptance For LGBT Community
Martina McBride recently appeared on Larry King Now, talking about whether being so openly accepting of the LGBT community had ever resulted in repercussions within the country music community.
"No, I don’t, actually," she told Larry. "I think that it’s just your own personal morals and values, and like I said, I believe in acceptance." She also said that she didn't think conservatism and homophobia was confined to a country listening audience, and that it applies to people from all walks of life, and equally with acceptance and tolerance. "I don’t think of my fans as one way. I think I have a very diverse group of fans."
