Marlisa Punzalan sings 'Yesterday' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Marlisa Punzalan auditioned with "Yesterday' on The X Factor Australia 2014.

Wow, another Pinoy auditioning for an international singing competition! Should I be shocked? Is this girl better than beloved Jessica Sanchez or Charice Pempengco?

Judges Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Redfoo and Dannii Minogue loved the 14-year-old and gave her a standing ovation. The audience was on their feet throughout Marlisa Punzalan's audition.

Personally, this was just OK. I don't think she's a star like Jessica or Charice. And vocally, it was decent but nothing special. The kids singing on The Voice Kids Philippines for example are better.
