Marlisa Punzalan sings 'Yesterday' on The X Factor Australia 2014 (VIDEO)

Marlisa Punzalan sang 'Yesterday' (Audition Song) on The X Factor Australia 2014 Grand Final on Sunday, October 19, 2014.

A beautiful vocal. Not that I was expecting anything less, but the Grand Final does bring a certain pressure that can rattle even the most seasoned performers. But Marlisa really delivered a Grand Final-worthy vocal here (that closing run, in particular, was just lovely). It's remarkable seeing how much she's grown since she performed this song at her audition. She's gone a long way in justifying the lowered age limit, since she's been one of the real bright spots of this competition. This season would have been far less interesting without her, so I'm glad she was able to be here, whether she wins this competition or not. A well-deserved standing ovation for Marlisa.
