Marlisa Punzalan sang 'All By Myself' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Live Show 1.

A stunning vocal. The verses were definitely shaky and a bit underwhelming, but she absolutely slayed the choruses. I couldn't possibly have been more impressed with this than I was, especially considering how young she is. If I have one complaint, it's the same one that Dannii had, which is that this felt a bit too mature for her age. I think Ronan overreacted a bit to the criticism, but I do feel it's a point that stands. Granted, Marlisa sang the song so well that I couldn't really be upset about it. That said, I hope she sings something lighter and more current next week (because she'll totally be here next week).
