Marlisa Punzalan sang 'Let It Go' on The X Factor Australia 2014 Live Show 5.

If I never have to hear this song again, it'll be too soon. That said, this was Marlisa's best performance of the live shows. Her confidence is growing onstage, and it shows. She doesn't look bored or like she's thinking about something else now, which was always my big issue with her. It's been a steady progression as her confidence builds, but she's getting there, as an onstage performer. Of course, I wish she'd done the Idina Menzel version of the song, and not the vastly inferior Demi Lovato version, especially since the movie version has all the big notes right there for Marlisa to hit. However, I've pretty much given up on Ronan ever giving these girls proper song choices. Regardless, I really liked this, and I'm beginning to see why so many people like her. She's got a wonderfully versatile voice, capable of hitting the big notes, the really complicated runs, but also the very subtle notes. She doesn't always have to belt, and the fact that she understands when and how to use the power in her voice shows remarkable maturity for a performer her age.
