Mark Ballas seriously injured in 'Dancing with the Stars' Finale rehearsal

Mark Ballas was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon following a shoulder injury during Dancing with the Stars Finale rehearsals. He was released shortly after.

He popped his shoulder during a lift during camera blocking, a show spokesperson told PEOPLE.

So what does that mean for his partner Candace Cameron Bure?

Mark said he was determine to perform despite the injury, but as a precaution, other pros have been learning their routines just in case Mark can't dance.

I'm hoping things work out!
