Mario Vazquez Speaks!

How nice. I wake up early enough to watch Mario Vazquez's interview on Good Day NY on Fox 5. Apparently, the news had interviewed Mario's mother before he had even told her so there was a little bit of mystery during the last few hours over what was happening.

One exciting thing was Mario made a shout out to Samantha and Mellie (woohoo) of www.mario-online.org. The site is offline right now, but it should be up in a couple of days as Mellie has moved it to a new server.

Mario chose either Anwar or Nadia to win. Well, I was hoping he would endorse Anthony, but then I know why he chose Anwar. Hahaha. He even said that he was a sucker for beautiful voices. Mario, try not to use the word 'sucker' in the future, please! He also said he was close to Mikalah.

First of all, Mario looked upbeat, even relieved to be out of the competition. Secondly, this "family business" thing looks a little shady since he looked happy (and the conflicting interviews with his own family who had no idea what this family business was all about).

My personal theory is that he finally decided to come out to his mom which would have been impossible to do properly if he was still on the show. In fact, he probably might have been outed in the middle of the show (knowing Fox), which would have been too much to put on his mother. (I know, the fans are a mess already, we'll put that little tidbit there since its all crazy anyway). Besides, he has had enough exposure already, so leaving was really the best decision. I think his team needs to buckle up now and make sure that with leverage he has, he gets a very good recording contract. We love you Mario! You still have all our support!
