Mariah Carey Denies Nicki Minaj 'American Idol' Feud - Video

Mariah Carey denies there is a feud brewing between her and Nicki Minaj on the set of American Idol.  In a brief interview with MTV news, Carey laughs off the idea that the pair could already be feuding after only two days of working together.  Minaj pretty much Mona Lisas her way though the question.

The rumors of a feud between the two divas started swirling before Minaj was even officially announced to the Idol judging panel.  However, Mariah says it just ain't true.

The part of me that loves a good train wreck is rooting for the feud to be real, while the part of me that just wants to enjoy the competition with minimal interference from the judging panel hopes the two can get along.  Then there's that evil little part that is rooting for an ironic turn of events like Mariah and Nicki being the bestest of friends, while seemingly mild mannered Keith Urban and long time judge Randy Jackson carry on a season long cat fight.

Really though, I'm just hoping for some good contestants.  How about you?
