'Man of Steel' TV Spot - Video

Ever since being cast in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, fans of the DC Comics character have wondered how Henry Cavill would do in the role. For years, Cavill had a bit of a reputation as the unluckiest man in Hollywood -- he'd routinely come close to getting cast in any number of high-profile franchise roles, before ultimately losing out in the home stretch. This included roles from James Bond to Batman, from Cedric Diggory to Edward Cullen. He even missed out on his chance to play Superman the first time around, getting cast in McG's Superman: Flyby before the project was canned in 2004.

But perhaps it's just as well, as Cavill has landed on his feet with Man of Steel, a blockbuster that is shaping up to be a fair sight better than many were anticipating. Check out the first TV spot below:
