Miles is bravely battling leukemia, exhibiting the same kind of bravery and strength as his favorite superhero, Batman. Now, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is looking to grant the 5-year-old boy's wish and allow him to become just like the comic book hero he loves.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation will transform San Francisco into Gotham City for a day in order to allow Miles to fight crime as "Batkid". With the aid of a grown-up sidekick, he'll venture across town in a Batmobile to save a damsel-in-distress tied up across the Hyde Street cable car tracks, before going on to battle such villains as the Riddler and the Penguin. He'll then be called upon to stop a robbery, before being asked to rescue famous Gotham City mascot Lou Seal.

"[Miles] is a sunny, positive little boy and finds his inspiration in super heroes," said a spokesman for Make-A-Wish. "When we interviewed Miles for a wish, he surprised even his parents: He wishes to BE Batkid!"

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is currently looking for volunteers to help out for the big event, which will talk place on November 15. You can find additional information about the event, including details on how you can participate, by visiting the event's official page.
