Make It Or Break It - What Are You Made Of - Recap
It's the final practice for the girls before the official tryouts for the Olympic team. The national committee is back with the rest of the national team to ruin everyone's mood at the rock. My least favorite character Ellen Beals is back worse than ever only this time she's ready to bully Emily into the ground and off of the Olympic team. Ellen's constant bullying of Emily not only ruins her self esteem but pisses of Marty who lets her know it. He tells her off in a spectacular way but she turns around and gets him fired. Ugh. Bitch! I was just starting to like him. She kicks Sasha out of the gym as well and names herself the new national team coach. That sucks.
Emily's only hope and faith for herself lies in the so called sponsorship that has all this faith in her. Little does she know that that benefactor is Lauren's dad. Ellen gives proof of this to Lauren who of course reads it and tells Emily. Emily breaks down, blames everything on her mother as usual but pulls it together and lands herself on the team. Lauren does too but with Ellen in her dad's pocket it's no surprise to anyone.
Kaylie is still stressfully not eating and people are starting to know it. Sasha doesn't think she needs to lose weight for the new move she's learning but Ellen doesn't care. Kelly Parker realizes what's going on but surprisingly doesn't say anything. I bet she will when it's beneficial to her. However for the time being Kaylie is still standing and performing great and hasn't passed out or anything so she also lands herself a spot on the team.
On to my favorite Rock girl, Payson. Sasha has her taking ballet lessons to work on her artistic grace but she's horrible at it. If i remember correctly, Ayla Kell is a ballet dancer in real life too so it must be amusing for her. Payson gets fed up with Sasha's luke warm words of encouragement because he doesn't understand what it's like. In an adorable move he joins her in the ballet studio to be there for her every step of the way. Ahhh I love him. Their scenes together are so cute.
Sasha doesn't stop there and he gives Payson his gold medal to use for inspiration until she gets her own. Have I mentioned how much I love him? I must not have been the only one to notice the chemistry between the two actors because it looks like the writers are going to go there. After Payson cooks Sasha dinner and spends her nights reading his book..it's looking like she's going to develop a crush on him. Not that I blame her at all but I just hope she doesn't act on it. It would make things extremely awkward and ruin the adorable scenes they have together which I can't get sick of :(.
