Make It Or Break It - Party Gone Out of Bounds - Recap
Kaley's control issues get more severe this week. She's still on the elliptical for like 7 hours, eating half a banana and anyone with eyes can see this isn't going to end well. When she's not focusing on herself she's focusing on commanding the other girls to follow her example. No boys and no fun. Period. Naturally Lauren is the first to veto that plan when Austin invites the girls to a pool party. Lauren has become increasingly evil. Sometimes, I listen to her speak, and I marvel at the fact that no one has smacked her yet. Emily's mom is an elder to her and seriously Lauren, show some respect! However, Carter tells her her actions are a major turn off and it seems to spark something in her brain. Kind of.
Someone who's respectful? Sasha. What a delish man. He gets all giddy and flustered at the prospect of taking Summer to dinner and asks Mrs. Keeler for advice. Aww I just love their storyline. It's so cute. He takes Summer out to a fancy restaurant where an unpleasant surprise awaits them. Chloe and Steve are at the next table over which kind of ruins the whole discreet relationship thing. After some quick texting from Sasha, Mrs. Keeler shows up to be their beard and accompany them on a business date and all goes well. I love Payson's mom. Summer and Sasha end their night with a kiss and Sasha gives a too good to be true speech on respecting Summer. Sigh.
Kaylie drags Payson along to spy on Austin's party when she's convinced that Emily lied and went with Lauren. They end up staying and Kaylie ends up looking like a big hypocrite when Lauren texts Emily a picture of Kaylie at the party. Before things get out of hand, Kaylie sees that the cops are outside and goes back in to the party to warn the other girls. They panic about the underage drinking going on and..jump into a lake to avoid the cops. That was a bit dramatic I think. I would have just hid in a bush or something.
The girls reach an understanding about their goals and friendship..or lack there of. I was a bit surprised when Kaylie mentioned they weren't her real friends. I would have been pissed if I was Payson. Lauren apologizes to Emily and things are going peachy for her until Chloe walks in on her and Carter in bed. Yikes Lauren. Looks like Chloe just got the upper hand.
