Make It Or Break It - Hungary Heart - Recap

The girls are heading to Hungary for their next competition. Emily leaves after breaking up with Damon because apparently, he's not allowed to work on music with another girl. The horror! Speaking of horror, Darby has decided that being a bitch is the way to go about proving she's a worthwhile coach. She starts yelling at the girls about how she tried to be their friend but them losing is all their fault. Right. And I suppose you drinking in a bar while you were supposed to be coaching had nothing to do with it right?

Payson is thrilled to be going to Romania because it's not that far from where Sasha has been hiding out. With the help of her mom's files and Lauren's dad's credit card, she plots for the three girls to pay Sasha a surprise visit and convince him to come back. They ditch Darby and Summer and track down where Sasha is staying. When they can't find him, they get a surprise when he's bartending at the pub they stop in. Sasha tells the girls they are wasting their time and he won't be coming back anytime soon. Come on Sasha! Coaching is way cooler. I'm convinced they wanted to let his hair grow out before featuring him prominently. I dig the longish blond locks.

Emily tries the guilt card, faulting Sasha for giving up on her. Lauren plays the Summer card and tells Sasha he doesn't have to worry because Summer is already over him. Uh. I don't think that's going to make him feel better Lauren. Payson urges the other girls to head back to the competition and stays behind. Summer shows up to take her home but Payson isn't through with Sasha yet. She calls him a quitter and gives back his medal. You go girl. Whatever she said must have worked because Sasha shows up in the middle of the night to tell the girls they have to prove he won't be wasting his time if he comes back.

The girls try to kick some butt during the competition. They're doing better than their disastrous loss last week but nothing spectacular. Emily falls during her routine again and the Russian team debuts their new secret weapon. Sounds like she's the new competition for the girls. Emily is taken off of the team and replaced with Kelly Parker who helps the team nab the silver medal. Emily's crappy day is only going to get worse. She's called into an office of a competition official to talk about a problem with her drug test. With Sasha at her side, she tries to explain that it was only an energy drink. That is unfortunately for her, not the problem. Emily is pregnant.
