Netflix Will Frighteningly be Rebooting 'The Magic School Bus'

This is not a drill, we repeat this is not a drill. The unthinkable has happened.

Netflix will be rebooting the classic cartoon The Magic School Bus, which taught children about science with help from a shape-shifting anthropomorphic school bus and a teacher with no qualms about the safety of her students.

Just your standard '90s fare really.

You may also recall The Magic School Bus books which pre-dated the PBS television series.

Either way, we're kind of worried that Netflix will be making over Ms. Frizzle and her pet chameleon pal Liz.

The streaming service will produce 26 episodes of the show for the 2016 season which will be renamed The Magic School Bus 360 and feature CGI to appeal to a new generation.

The worst.

On the plus side, like the original series, the reboot will be produced by Scholastic Media who we hope haven't lost their touch.
