Madonna To Join Miley Cyrus for MTV Unplugged Special

Madonna and Macklemore (Grammys CBS)

It doesn't look like Madonna is going away anytime soon. The legendary performer is set to join Miley Cyrus for the upcoming MTV Unplugged special.

E Online reports that the two will be performing together. No word just yet on what the duo will be singing but it's sure to be interesting. Madonna is like passing the torch to this generation's provocative performer that gets everyone talking. For all the wrong reasons but still.

According to MTV, the special will feature surprise guests when "The salacious singerwill peel the electricity from her party anthems and turn them into stripped-down jams."

Madonna recently made headlines when she performed alongside Macklemore at the Grammys.

Miley Cyrus: Unplugged airs this Wednesday, January 29th at 9/8c on MTV.
