Luke Wade sings 'Thinking Out Loud' (VIDEO)

Luke Wade sang 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran on The Voice 2014 Season 7 Top 12 on Monday, November 17, 2014 for Team Pharrell Williams.

I wanted to like this so much more than I did, but even without the slip-up at the beginning, the vocal seemed off-pitch in places. That said, Luke deserves a lot of credit for recovering so well, to where you might not have even noticed he came in too early on the verse. But that slip-up did seem to derail his confidence for the rest of the performance, and that affected the vocal a bit. He's a great singer, and I hope he doesn't beat himself up over this too much. He deserves to stick around, and I'm confident he will.

Adam praises Luke for recovering like a pro, since it happens to everybody. Gwen concurs, saying that it's happened to her tons of times, and she actually like when it does, because it makes a person seem more human. Pharrell agrees with the other coaches and says that Luke was able to get things back on track, and that people will be hashtagging "Lukify" once again.
