Luke Bryan's New Album Hits #1 Across All Genres

Luke Bryan's new album Crash My Party has debuted at #1 across all genres on Billboard's album charts.

Selling just under 528,000 units in its first week, Luke's fourth record achieved the third biggest sales week of 2013, only topped by Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience and Jay-Z's Magna Carta... Holy Grail. In fact, he has had the biggest first week of sales for a male country artist since 2004, when Tim McGraw's Live Like You Were Dying sold 766,000 copies.

In addition, Luke, alongside Taylor Swift, is the only country artist to sell more than 500,000 copies in his first week since 2008.

So, that's pretty impressive already for the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, who released his album on August 13, following the #1 hit title track and his latest (polarizing) new single 'That's My Kind of Night'.
