Luke Bryan wins male vocalist of the year at ACC Awards (VIDEO)

Luke Bryan added the American Country Countdown Awards to his string of wins this year after winning male vocalist of the year last night, Monday, December 15, 2014.

He also won the American Music Awards favorite male country artist last month.

It's been a bittersweet few weeks for Luke as his brother-in-law Ben Lee Cheshire died a few weeks ago. Ben was married to Luke's sister Kelly who died in 2007 at the age of 39. Luke also had a brother Chris who died at age 19.

Luke Bryan took the stage last night at the ACC Awards performing 'Roller Coaster' before receiving the award.

He said:

"I want to get serious just for a second. I wanna thank all of my fans for the last couple of weeks in my life, for keeping my family in your prayers. And I wanna also recognize the country music community, all the artists. Fans, let me explain something to you: You guys support wonderful artists, because they have rallied around me and helped me and my family through the last couple of weeks. It's just nice to feel loved in a situation [like that]. Just thank you guys for an amazing 2014."
