Lucy Liu Will Direct Once Again In 'Elementary' Season 3

Elementary returns for its third season on CBS this fall, which likely means a few changes are to be expected. But the crime drama is keeping it all in the family when it comes to directors, at least.

Series co-lead Lucy Liu is set to return to the director's chair for an episode in Season 3, her second time in the job following the Season 2 episode "Paint It Black", which turned out to be one of the best of that season. Seriously, if Liu continues to be as talented behind the camera as she is in front of it, there's no reason she shouldn't be able to make a second career out of being a director.

Elementary returns for its third season on October 30 at 10/9c on CBS.
