Lovelace - Official Trailer

Credit: Millennium Films

Lovelace has been in production for the better part of forever, with Lindsay Lohan originally attached to star in the title role of 70s adult film star Linda Lovelace. But time passed, Lindsay imploded, and here we are now with Amanda Seyfried as the eponymous porn star who made her name in the classic (well, insofar as a porno can be called a classic) 1972 film Deep Throat .

Seyfried plays Lovelace while Peter Sarsgaard plays the role of her abusive husband/manager, Chuck Traynor. The cast includes James Franco (as Hugh Hefner, of all people), Adam Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Hank Azaria, Chris Noth, Chloe Sevigny, Juno Temple, and Robert Patrick and Sharon Stone as Lovelace’s disapproving parents.
