'Lost' Vets Cast as Fitz and Mellie's Kids on 'Scandal'

The First Children are coming to Scandal! And they'll be played by two former stars of one of ABC's biggest dramas, Lost.

Fitz and Mellie’s children, Jerry and Karen, have been cast. Dylan Minnette and Madeline Carroll have won the roles.

Minnette is perhaps best known from his recurring role as Jack Shepard's son in the final season of Lost. However, he's been steadily working in TV since Lost ended in 2010, landing the role as Jason Isaac's son on Awake, and as the future Blizzard on a recent episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Carroll, meanwhile, is a Lost alum, having played Ben Linus's childhood friend Annie. However, she's remained in the ABC family, guest starring on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.

This won't be Minnette and Carroll's first time working together, as they co-starred in The Hub series R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour.

Scandal returns from winter hiatus with the 11th episode of the season on Feb. 27. However, the Grant kids won't appear until Episode 15.
