LOST: The Final Season - Questions, WTF moments, and Two Evil Bald Men

With no new episode next week, I knew this episode would be a major set up for things to come.
Smokie was Christian? One of the biggest debates since the pilot episode of Lost, was if Jack really did see his father after the crash. I remember it distinctly as being my very first WTF moment along with the crazy dinosaur I thought was lurking in the jungle. Tonight we got apparent confirmation that Flocke was indeed posing as Christian. Flocke says he wanted to lead Jack to water. But did he? Or was he really just trying to finish Jack off then and there? Remember when he lead Jack off that cliff until he was saved by John? Did he know Jack would be a threat? Or did he just want a believable body to posses? Were the Christian visions ALWAYS Smokie? Christian has appeared on island, off island, and even in two places at once. What's the deal? Who else has he become? Kate's horse? Dave? Are all the visions the same? Somehow, I don't think so.
Sun recognizes Locke? Sun and John are both brought into the hospital at the same time in the flash sideways. A very injured Sun looks over and sees a very bloody John Locke and says "It's him." Why does she recognize him? Because of her near death experience? Better yet, who does she recognize him as? Good old Johnny? Or the evil bald man who will probably try to kill them all in a few weeks? Is she remembering the evil things he's about to do on the island? She didn't seem very happy to see him.
Did Sayid shoot Desmond? I'm betting no. For now anyway. However, I love that beautiful Scotsman so I'll say anything to keep him around. But I also enjoy the idea that there's still a little bit of good left inside Sayid that might have caused him to leave Des alone. What will happen to him in the flash sideways now that Miles and Sawyer have arrested him? Is he gonna escape with Kate or will they all remember each other and make a run for the nearest airport or time machine?
Jack and Claire? Ahh finally we get to see Jack and Claire acknowledge their sibling status. Both on the island and off. Did anyone else think Des was gonna smother Claire in the elevator to get her to remember the island? He was such a creeper! I'm gonna go with he was hoping Jack's lovely face would spawn some memories. Jack was shocked once again to learn he had a sister but so far it doesn't look like they have any island memories. What role will Ilana play off island? I'd kind of love if Richard was her boss or something. I'd rather him be an exotic dancer or something but that would be cool too. Would he even be off island if Jacob hasn't touched him?
Who did Widmore blow up? I was really worried for a second when that beach blew up and Jack went flying. Even more curious was when Flocke immediately ran to save Jack. Hmm. I thought perhaps Sayid and Cindy and the kids were still there but upon closer inspection, i think we only lost a bunch of people we can live without. What is Widmore's plan? Why doesn't he seem to care if he kills a bunch of people with his idiotic plan? He doesn't seem to care if his son in law gets shot for the greater good, and for all he knew a bunch of innocent kids were on that beach. What is he planning to do with Flocke? Does he really think a simple explosion is gonna take care of evil devil smoke? Come on now.
The Last Recruit? So, did Jack go over to the dark side by choosing not to leave the island? I think not. As annoying as he may be sometimes, I think he knows what he's doing here. Showing a few signs of the old John Locke along the way. On the boat he told Sawyer that he felt there was a reason that Flocke wanted them off the island because he was afraid what would happen if they stayed. I think he wants to find out. Is he finally accepting they're all there for a reason? Was John right all along? Speaking of..
Will Jack fix Locke? Wouldn't you know it, the man who rushes in to Jack's ER is none other than John Locke. A man already paralyzed who was run over by a determined man with a sexy accent. Jack seemed pretty confident when he looked at those X-rays. Is he confident he will save John's life? Or can he make him walk again? Will that be the final trigger they'll need to remember each other? And what will Ben need to happen to remember himself? That ambulance ride was a weird one. I hope we get to see Katey Sagal next week.
Are you guys excited for the new episode two weeks from tonight? I feel big things are coming.
