Lost: The Final Season - Questions, WTF moments, and the Return of Jears

Questions, WTF moments, and the Return of Jears
Whoa. Tonight's episode gave us another big chunk of puzzle. Jack episodes always include answers and tonight did not disappoint. Did we finally get an answer to the numbers?
Who is Jack's Baby Mama? In Jack's flash-sideways, we immediately find out that he has a son named David. And not a baby either, but a pretty grown boy. And he's gifted in the music department. Who is his mother? Whoever she is, Jack is not with her anymore. Is it Sarah? I feel like if it was Sarah, there wouldn't have been a huge mystery around it. And it obviously isn't Kate because they didn't seem to know each other on the plane. Jack seems to have started out as the kind of father Christian was to him growing up but is changing for the better. He's stopped drinking as much and tells his son he can never fail.
Who's coming to the Island? Jacob tells Hurley that someone is coming to the Island and he needs to help them find their way. Who? Desmond? Widmore? Why would they be coming back now? Besides it being the only way to reintroduce those characters. Will they still be able to find the island since Jack went commando and killed the mirrors in the lighthouse?
WTF Claire? So Claire's just been wandering around the jungle for three years? Being captured and tortured here and there? But still with a recollection of who she is and her past? Hmm. She doesn't seem to recall leaving Aaron under a tree however but instead is under the impression that the Others have taken him. Someone was feeding her that story and Claire says she's been with a friend who turns out to be Flocke. Has he been manipulating her this whole time as his first recruit? It's a shame Jin backtracked and told Claire that Kate didn't take Aaron. I would have enjoyed that showdown.
The Lighthouse? Okay so what the hell is up with this lighthouse. It definitely had a Jacob vibe about it. It was definitely his style. 360 degrees of names, each with a number beside them, some crossed out. Just like the cave. Is the cave actually where Flocke has been hanging out? I thought the names on the ceiling looked more like a hitlist. Why is it when the dial is passing certain names, images are reflected in the mirrors? Besides Jack's house, I saw a church (the church where Sawyer's parents were buried?), and a building that looked like where Sun and Jin got married. Is this just a place for Jacob to be the ultimate peeping Tom? Do we finally have the answer to the numbers? Degrees of our Losties? Is this how Jacob was able to guide them to the Island? Or to at least make sure they were following the right path? And while I'm at it...
Jacob. Good guy? I've been on an emotional roller coaster when it comes to Jacob for awhile now. I've been convinced he was a good guy up until this season where things got iffy. Some could argue that Jacob is the ultimate manipulator and poor Flocke is a prisoner on this Island. That he's been manipulating our Losties to do his bidding. Are things NOT so black and white and Flocke and Jacob are both naughty boys? This week gave me another nudge in the direction of Faith. Faith in Jacob. The theme of Black and White has been apparent ever since Locke played backgammon with Walt. I have to have faith that that is what will play out in the end. However, I'm paranoid that that is exactly what I'm supposed to think and i'm actually part of big con. Damn you Darlton.
Jack's Destiny? Jacob seemed confident that Jack had a purpose and that he had to realize it on his own. Has he had a plan for him all along? What is it that he's going to want Jack to do? Is Jack the rightful candidate to replace Jacob? Jack said he was broken and hoped the island could fix him. He's definitely in an emotional place right now. Why are Hurley and Jack so important?
I really enjoyed this episode. I always love when Jack's tears and anger are present. I got goosebumps at the season 1 parallel at the caves. I also had a good chuckle when Hurley theorized that Adam and Eve were actually themselves dead when traveling through time. Did anyone else think Claire's friend was gonna turn out to be Flocke posing as an island dwelling Dominic Monaghan? Or that Daniel Faraday would come out of nowhere as David's piano teacher? I had hope. What will Claire do to Kate when she finally does realize that Aaron was taken?
