LOST: The Final Season - Questions, WTF moments, and a Brutha.

This episode we get to see what happened after Jin was detained by airport security in LAX. He's still working for a ruthless and dangerous man.

Sun and Jin? In the flash sideways we learn that Sun and Jin aren't married but are still together. They're keeping it a secret from Sun's father. Why do they need to keep it a secret? Did they meet after Jin was hired by Mr. Paik? Jin is still doing Mr. Paik's dirty work and delivering large amounts of cash to slimeballs like Keamy. In a crazy twist, the man who just refuses to stay dead, Mikhail, turns up as a translator with Keamy. With both eyeballs still in their sockets. Well not for long if Jin has anything to say about it..

Sun's fate? Mikhail, yet again is responsible for another tragic turn of events. This time, he's shot Sun who is pregnant. Will Sun die? Will her baby die? Will Mikhail stop torturing me and just stay dead? Will Jack or Juliet be one of the doctor's in the hospital responsible for saving her? I wouldn't mind seeing Juliet return seeing as pregnant women are her specialty. She could finish what she started on the island.

Recruits for the war? Flocke says that he needs all of the candidates who's names are not crossed off to come with him in order to leave the island. Is that true? Or does he just need them together for his own personal gain? Does he even want to get off the island to go hang with the rest of the world? I think our candidates being together is another loophole that will help unleash Flocke's evil on the world. He tells Claire that he needs her too and he needs Kate even though her name is no longer on the wall. Why is Kate no longer a candidate? Why was she disqualified? Did Jacob just not want to deal with her? And if so, then what does Flocke need with her? Her power of persuasion?

Widmore's true motives? Is Widmore even working for himself anymore? Or is he trying to make up for all the bad he's done in the past? His main goal here seems to be preventing Flocke from leaving the island. He tells Jin that if Flocke succeeds in leaving, everyone else will "cease to be." I found this scene very interesting. Charles didn't say they'd all die. He said they'd cease to be. Hmmmm. What with the Island sinking and everything it really makes you wonder.

Desmond? Okay, now what the hell is Des doing locked up and drugged on the submarine? Did Charles find out why Desmond was special? Did he find a way to use that for his advantage? Daniel said over and over that the rules don't apply with Desmond. He's special. Will he be the key to stopping MIB from getting what he wants?

I thought this episode was a little slow in the action and momentum department. After last week I think I'm getting greedy. My favorite moments involved Ben, Ilana telling Ben that him speaking is all she needs not to trust him, and Sun all up in Richard's face calling him names. I am curious about the mirror clues we seem to keep getting. The flash sideways have taken time to show us the Losties looking in mirros with looks of recognition or confusion. What does it mean? Are the time lines spilling over? I do not like the bag pipes in next week's previews.
