LOST: The Final Season – Questions, WTF moments, and a Broken Heart

This was one of the most intense episodes of Lost ever. I can't even.

Kate? Why isn't Kate on the list? Why isn't she a candidate? What caused her name to get crossed out? Is it because Jacob considers her a roach who just refuses to die and just keeps getting in the way? All my rage about tonight's episode aside, why did Flocke and Jacob keep her around if she wasn't a candidate? Presumably all others who were crossed out had died but let's face it, that's not happening. Will she prove useful to this game in the end? Or ever?

Will Jack fix Locke? Jack seemed to find his purpose in the flash sideways as well as the island. All the losties are being brought together and he's realizing it. What was up with creepy Bernard? What does he know? Will locke ever give in and allow Jack to fix him? What will happen if he does? Do they have a purpose off the island? Will he get to marry the fabulous Katey Sagal? Speaking of..

Locke's accident? Why was the cause of paralysis different this time around? We learn that John is responsible for not only paralyzing himself but making his dad a vegetable. Was there some other force behind the plane crash that took his legs? Why the hell does John keep getting his ass kicked in every time line? Will he finally get to prove his worth in the end? (Please.)

What is Flocke planning? So, Flocke knew what he was doing. He was a master manipulator who sadly got the best of a big chunk of our losties tonight and it cost them their lives. What does he gain by getting all of our losties out of the way? Are they preventing him from leaving the island? Would they have been okay if Sawyer hadn't pulled the wires himself? I hate you Flocke. I really do.

Let's just get to ranting about the end shall we?

So, at the end of the episode, four deaths have occurred. :( I will wipe my tears long enough to retype the fact that Sayid finally got to sacrifice himself and blow up by Flocke's bomb. If only he had run fast enough he wouldn't have killed Frank.. Who apparently got killed by a fucking DOOR. I didn't even realize Frank had died until all my friends told me he had. Then I got really pissed. Then the sad piano death music that Lost loves to use started when Sun and Jin forgot about their kid and drowned together. Not. Cool. I am NOT happy. Especially because Kate FINALLY got shot and she still lives.

Who else cried when Hurley started bawling? Anyone else half expect Frank to wash up on shore? :( Why did Sayid suddenly become..seemingly normal? For a second there, i did a little jig in my seat when bad ass Sayid returned to take care of the bomb. Did Desmond change him? What did he mean when he told Jack "It's going to be you." What does he know? Is this the biggest clue for the ending yet?
