Lost - Season 3 - Episode 58 - Tricia Tanaka is Dead

A Hurley-centered episode is always light-hearted and fun. Unfortunately, the shock and awe that Lost employed so effectively for the first two seasons have been superseded by the shock and awe of Heroes. Yay. There's a van on the island. Woopee. I don't think the magic is completely gone -- it's just gotten so old. When Kate tells that French lady that she thinks she's seen her lost daughter -- I just scratched me head. We knew this like at the end of Season One or something, and they honestly think its supposed to excite us now? Anyway... Lost has also turned into one big product placement for Dharma Initiative branded products. They have have cars, cornflakes and alcoholic beverages. Thankfully, you can now make your own Dharma Initiative rations at home!

James Sawyer is still hot. We're keeping the flames alive.
