Lorde - Royals - Good Morning America - Video

Lorde is making the rounds after becoming the youngest artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 since Tiffany in 1987. In promoting her new album, Pure Heroine, the 16-year-old New Zealand singer appeared on Good Morning America to perform her #1 single, "Royals".

She's strangely captivating while performing, even if I'm one of maybe two or three people on the planet right now who isn't really feeling the song (although I fully anticipate that it'll grow on me, at some point, just like "Somebody That I Used To Know" did). I did like the performance though, even if I found myself wondering what the hell she was wearing. Seriously, it's the first time she's actually come across as a 16-year-old to me. All she's missing is a big black robe, and she'll be ready for the Sorting Hat at Hogwarts.
