Lola Saunders sings 'When You Believe' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Lola Saunders sang 'When You Believe' on The X Factor UK Live Show 3 on October 25, 2014.

Lola's makeover is absolutely stunning, and it really does match the retro stylings of her voice. She seems a lot more like the throwback artist she's been trying to be, now that her look matches up with the dynamic she's presenting. However, I didn't think this was Lola's best performance, by any means. There were parts of this that were shaky and uncertain, although I mostly chalk that up to bad song choice. It seems Cheryl really wanted to secure a "moment" for Lola, but gave her a song that was just too big a monster to slay, especially for someone with the confidence issues that Lola has. I do hope she starts believing in herself more ardently, since she does have the potential to make a real run at the title if she can rein in her nerves. This wasn't bad, per se, but it was disappointing, especially following what she accomplished last week with 'Imagine'. Then again, it was going to be a tall order to top that, no matter what she ended up doing here. I hope she stays safe, either way. She's too good to leave us this soon.

But what do you think of Lola Saunders?
