Well, no one ever said Liza Minnelli isn't a trooper.

A spokesman for Minnelli confirmed that the 67-year-old Oscar winner broke her wrist in three places while rehearsing at home on Sunday for her performance at the jazz club Birdland. The event was a benefit for the Women's Health Initiative and the Dr. Philomena McAndrew Fund of Tower Cancer Research Foundation.

Yet despite the injury, Minnelli still managed to appear at the benefit, performing onstage with her sister, actress/singer Lorna Luft. This was a significant milestone for the duo, as it was their first performance together since their duet at the 1993 Tony Awards twenty years ago.

Following the performance, Minnelli returned to the hospital for further examination and treatment. The singer is currently on the mend.
