Liz Davis, winner of P. Diddy's 'Starmaker,' auditions for 'The Voice'

Liz Davis, the winner of Starmaker -- a reality show by P. Diddy and Mark Burnett (and hosted by American Idol finalist Kimberly Caldwell!), auditioned for The Voice Season 3.

Burnett likes to recycle talent from past reality shows produced by his company or not, so it would be interesting to see how Davis plays out on the show. To be honest, I've never heard of her until this press leak.

From WENN:

LIZ DAVIS, winner of SEAN 'P. DIDDY' COMBS's singing competition show STARMAKER, has given fame another try as a contestant in the upcoming season of THE VOICE.

In 2009, the Nashville, Tennessee native first wowed the judges of MTV's reality show with a powerful rendition of Miranda Lambert's Gunpowder and Lead.

Week after week, Davis continued to impress viewers, and was eventually crowned the champion of the rap mogul's singing competition, and won a record deal with his Bad Boy record label.

However three years later, and no longer signed to his label, Davis is giving reality TV another shot, as seen in a new promo for The Voice, in which she belts out Gretchen Wilson’s, Here For The Party.

Her voice seemed to impress the judges, including Lambert's husband, country star Blake Shelton, who exclaims, "We are looking at a star!"

Coincidentally, P. Diddy's Starmaker, which only lasted one season, was produced by Mark Burnett, who also serves as the executive producer of The Voice.

Viewers will be able to see how Davis fares the second time around when season three of The Voice begins on 10 September (12).
