Live-Action 'Attack On Titan' Movie Cast Posters Revealed (PHOTOS)

Attack on Titan is one of the more popular anime series in Japan (hell, it's pretty popular over here, to boot), so it's only natural that the series, adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, is getting a blockbuster film adaptation in Japan.

A live-action Attack on Titan movie is in the works, and the cast posters have been revealed, suggesting that the film will be set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, which marks a considerable departure from the more colonial look of the source material's setting. But hey, at least the costumes look great.

The cast includes Miura Haruma as Eren, Mizuhara Kiko as Mikasa, Shu Watanabe as Fukushi, Ayame Misaki as Hiana, and Rina Takeda as Lil. The latter three are new characters original to the film adaptation, although it appears this live-action film is less about being 100% faithful to the source material, and more about retelling the story in a fashion that better serves the film medium.
