LISTEN: Nicki Minaj's new single, 'Pills N Potions'

After an anticipated wait, here is the new single from Nicki Minaj, taken from her upcoming junior album.

The single is, "Pills N Potions."

I guess this is solid. I'm not a big fan of her rap ballads, and it's very pop and mainstream although some urban undertones in it to so it can be a multi-format hit if she is successful.

I wanted to her to come hard with a trap hit which still had enough confection to be on Top 40, but I think this is a good start. It is positively received by a lot of critics so far for the lyrics and her being vulnerable, so good Nicki.
