Lindsay Lohan On Saturday Night Live - Review

Was this episode of Saturday Night Live the beginning of Lindsay Lohan's comeback? Well, she had about 10 lines the entire episode and did absolutely nothing comedic. In a word? No. The episode featured appearances by Jon Hamm and Jimmy Fallon but even that couldn't save it.

She was the host of the episode and didn't star in any of the skits. Rather, she stood there and was only given bit lines that she had to stare tellingly at cue cards to make her way through. It felt rather like the rest of the veteran cast members were given chances to star in the skits themselves and Lindsay was the prop to ask questions and move the scenes along.

The episode had two rerun sketches from past episodes to fill time and Lindsay didn't even appear in the SNL Digital Short. I don't know why Lindsay wasn't given more lines or comedic opportunities throughout the episode. If anything, her struggle with lines was just a depressing reminder of how great she used to be and how fantastic Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are now.

Come on Lindsay! Dye your hair back! We're all rooting for you!
