Lindsay Lohan is House-Hunting in the West Village
Troubled former starlet Lindsay Lohan is reportedly sniffing around Greenwich Village, checking out pricey townhouses in the trendy neighborhood.
After alleged noise complaints from fed-up neighbors, Lohan may be forced out of the upscale SoHo rental where she currently resides. Oprah Winfrey reportedly pays the pad’s $16,800-a month rent as part of the agreement made for Lohan’s poorly-received reality show Lindsay, which aired on Winfrey’s OWN network in March.
Sources claim LiLo was spotted viewing a turn-of-the-century townhouse with the steep price tag of $6.95 million. The 2,800-square foot luxury space is decked out in red brick and wrought-iron and spans four floors.
So what does $7 million get you in the West Village? The lavish home has three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and three outdoor spaces—a ground floor patio, a second-floor Juliet balcony, and a spacious roof deck.
One wonders how LiLo’s fading stardom will provide the wealth for such lavish digs (at least without Oprah’s help), or if West Village residents will be more accepting of the unstable actress’ raucous behavior.
