Lindsay Lohan is headed for the stony lonesome.
As part of a guilty plea deal, a California judge has sentenced Lindsay Lohan to an unfathomable, WHOPPING five days in jail (that'll learn her), and 90 days in locked rehab, along with 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychotherapy -- this is without even getting into the multiple fines for violating the probation that the last judge was crazy enough to give her.
Lohan pleaded no contest in an LA court alongside her lawyer, Mark Heller, who was caught in the crossfire after the troubled starlet was glitter-bombed outside the courthouse, as this is apparently the only way Lohan can get bombed these days without landing in front of a judge for it. The actress was due in court at 8:30 a.m. to face the judge on charges that she lied to police after a car crash last year, but turned up nearly an hour late to the proceedings after her red-eye flight was delayed.
Wearing a sheer white pantsuit (after Labor Day, no less!), the 26-year-old actress rushed past a sea of paparazzi as well as an anonymous bystander armed with glitter.
Lohan, who has been on probation for a number of offenses from drunk driving and shoplifting charges dating all the way back to 2007, stood accused of lying to officers when she insisted that she was not driving the Porsche that rear-ended a truck in June of last year, en route to the set of TV movie Liz & Dick. The three misdemeanor counts against her included reckless driving, providing false information to an officer and willfully resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer.
In previous proceedings, Lohan had refused any deal that would send her to the slammer, including an offer from prosecutors to serve 90 days in a locked rehabilitation facility to resolve the charges. With this latest ruling, that's all out the window. Well, at least for the next five days.
Check out the glitter-bombing below -- because I can't imagine a better remedy for a case of the Mondays.
