'The Legend of Korra' ratings continue to free fall after another time swap
Nickelodeon is royally screwing up epic series, The Legend of Korra. Find out what the network is doing wrong and just how low the ratings went:
Did you think things couldn't get worse? They actually did. Like really worse.
We initially reported that the ratings were down. After the third episode of the second season hit 2.19 million, it rebounded a little for the next week to 2.38 million.
Then Nick thought it would be genius to decide three days before the next airing that they didn't want it on Friday night at 7pm - so they moved it to 8:30pm. In this move, The Legend of Korra lost a strong-lead in (SpongeBob) and got the weaker Sanjay & Craig. Sam & Cat then replaced Korra at 7pm. But which series did Nick give the 7:30 slot to? Drake & Josh........
So in this new time slot The Legend of Korra fell to 1.1 million viewers, a drop from the 2.6 in the first episode of the season and a 4.5 from the first season premiere. Hopefully Nick sticks through with their plans to produce the third and fourth books for the series, and keep them on Nickelodeon - not Nicktoons.
