Leaving Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, which for all intents and purporses are the $200 I bet on the blackjack table which I will never see again.

So I'm back in New York and my trip to the desert now feels like a dream. It was actually a pretty good 24 hours. I finally met James face-to-face, and got to spend some time out of the city. I ate a lot of Filipino food, watched Filipino TV, had fun gambling (it's addicting, thank God I have no money), and saw the Bellagio water fountain show. In the many times I've visted Vegas, I've never seen it until last Friday.

I keep forgetting that 4.5 hours on a plane is actually long, but I would probably take another "spontaneous" weekend getaway in the future. It's just so surreal that I was walking on the Las Vegas Strip less than 24 hours ago, and here I am in cool and sunny Spanish Harlem watching the NFL.
Las Vegas from the air is almost as impressive as New York.
