Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev dance Foxtrot on Dancing with the Stars 19 (VIDEO)
Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev danced Foxtrot on Dancing with the Stars 19 on Monday, September 15, 2014.
Music was "This Will Be (An Everylasting Love)" by Natalie Cole.
Lea Thompson had no issues that she would be seen as a "cougar" ala Mrs. Robinson as Artem is so much younger than her. Artem was on Season 1 of So You Think You Can Dance and won Strictly Come Dancing, the version of DWTS in the U.K.
The judges praised Lea and told her not to worry that Mikhail Baryshnikov once told her she could not dance.
"I thought that was one of the best first foxtrots I have ever seen," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba. "You are a well balanced team."
"Your future is rosy cause that was terrific," said head judge Len Goodman.
"It was so beautiful," said judge Julianne Hough. "It made me so happy. It looked like those 32 years of not dancing never existed."
"Judging by the first bars we could have a blockbuster in our hands," said judge Bruno Tonioli.
The judges gave them a total score of 32.
After the dance, Lea Thompson said: "He's an awesome teacher (regarding Artem)."

| Rickey's Passing Thoughts: "I am elated by this first dance for Lea and Artem as I have been a huge fan of Artem since the very beginning of his career on US television. Did you guys know that he once dated Carrie Ann (who is again older than him)? It's a trend. Lea is in good company! Lea has had a good career and is on one of ABC Family's steady shows Switched at Birth." | ||
