Lea Michele Finally Admits That She and Matthew Morrison Did Date

Lea Michele and her Glee co-star Matthew Morrison have denied their former involvement for years now, until she let it slip (not so subtly or secretly) in her book Brunette Ambition that they did have a thing very briefly.

Which means that all those other times she and Morrison (who are only eight years apart in real life) laughed off the supposed rumors they were lying.

Also that this is most likely a ploy to sell more books.

The two were friends on Broadway long before they appeared on Glee together, and the two used that as the excuse.

For example, Michele has previously claimed, "People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close" while Morrison called the whole thing "laughable."

However, as Michele recently revealed in her book:
When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time. I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we’d actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat.
And you thought Mr. Shue was creepy because his only friends were high schoolers. Now you know he's not opposed to dating them either.
