Simon Cowell's Baby Mama Finalizes Divorce

Simon Cowell's girlfriend and baby mama Lauren Silverman has finalized her divorce, which means the baby won't awkwardly be born while Silverman is legally married to her ex.

People has confirmed that the divorce went through at the New York Civil Court yesterday (Dec. 4).

The settlement was apparently amicable when first discussed in August and everything is now official.

At the time of the settlement, Lauren revealed, "I am committed to sorting things out with Andrew as amicably as possible to ensure the well-being of our son." Meaning the 7-year-old boy she has with Andrew Silverman.

Sources close to Cowell claim that he has purchased an engagement ring and plans to propose to Lauren to make their relationship official over the holidays.

We guess we'll just have to wait and see.
