Lauren Platt sings 'Beneath Your Beautiful' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Lauren Platt sang 'Beneath Your Beautiful' on The X Factor UK 2014 Judges' Houses.

I thought this was a rich, lovely vocal, particularly considering how young Lauren is. Not a whole lot of singers her age can deliver this level of emotion in a performance, which is why I think she'll surprise a lot of people in this competition. She's one of the more current contestants this season has, and I'm genuinely excited to see what she's capable of if she moves ahead, because she could really be the one to open some eyes.

But what do you think of Lauren Platt?

LAUREN PLATT is through to Live Shows!

I think Lauren could prove to be Cheryl's best chance at winning the competition. She's a hell of a vocalist, and I'm thrilled with this choice.
