Laura Prepon Will Return for 'Orange Is the New Black' Season 3

After word that Laura Prepon would be having a reduced role in Orange Is the New Black Season 2 came word that the actress would go from appearing in just one Season 2 episode to appearing in four. But what about Season 3?

Well, it turns out Prepon will be back after all. After Season 1 wrapped, Prepon decided she did not want to extend her one-season contract into a deal that would make her a series regular. However, once Orange Is the New Paul became Netflix’s biggest hit, and fans inundated Prepon, Netflix, and show creator Jenji Kohan, plans were made to bring Prepon back. So Prepon will have a larger role if the show, which hasn't officially been renewed just yet, does return for a third season.

Whether the show is renewed will likely depend on the success of Season 2. But as Netflix's biggest hit, I think the show is looking good for a return (barring any other major cast members bailing).

Orange Is the New Black returns for its hotly-anticipated second season June 6 on Netflix.
