Laura Prepon leaving 'Orange Is the New Black'

Laura Prepon has seen a bit of a career resurgence with her work on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black. But now it appears as though her role in the hit drama is coming to an end.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Laura Prepon will not return as a series regular in season two of the drama. The actress will only return to wrap up her storyline. However, the door reportedly remains open for Prepon to return to the series down the line.

"Our season is still developing and nothing is confirmed," a Netflix rep said in a statement, regarding whether Prepon would be leaving the series for good. Representatives for Prepon declined comment.

Netflix renewed Orange Is the New Black in June for a 13-episode second season, before the series even premiered online.
