Lady Gaga Pays for Fan's Surgery

Although Lady Gaga has been lying low as of late, the pop star popped up in the press this weekend for a pretty spectacular act of kindness, according to MTV.

Following the cancellation of her Born This Way Ball Tour due to injury, Gaga would undergo surgery on a labral tear. Recently, a 19-year-old fan from Wisconsin, Emma, who suffers from scoliosis and hip dysplasia, reached out to Gaga via social networks to ask for medical advice. Gaga, going the extra mile, offered to give her "little monster" the royal treatment; flying her out to meet with Gaga's own specialist.

Emma stated:

GaGa reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time. We’re planning on flying out this weekend, all expenses paid, for a consult. The gesture is absolutely incredible… I broke down sobbing. Words can’t describe how incredibly blessed I am.

Rumor has it that Gaga's own gold-plated wheel chair has been affectionately dubbed "Emma." When the girl completes her surgery, Gaga is looking to pass on the chair.
