La Toya Jackson Says She Didn't Get Married

Last week we passed along reports that La Toya Jackson had married her friend and business partner, Jeffre Phillips. But La Toya says that's just not true.

As the Jackson family member explained to TMZ, "We're not married."

And in case you didn't believe her, Phillips added, "We're not married. No. That's just a rumor." He then went on to say they put out a statement saying those marriage claims were false.

Said statement took aim at Radar, who first reported the news, saying, "The rumors that La Toya Jackson married her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips are completely false. The reporting outlet should be embarrassed for their mistake and at least make an effort to find facts to back up their story before reporting."

To which we say, have you ever read anything on Radar?

Although it should be noted that the mostly reputable Us Weekly had sources who also confirmed that they tied the knot.

Oh well.
