La Mala Educacion

Finally! Inserted the Bad Education DVD that has been waiting for me on my desk for two months. This is a very dark film, that got darker up to the very end. Three things:

1. Gael Garcia Bernal, who is now one of my absolute favorites, gave a brilliant performance as an actor playing a drag queen - as opposed to simply a drag queen. He truly has one of the most beautiful faces in the world right now, and its wonderful to see him act, and not just literally be pretty.

2. I am warming up to Pedro Almodovar. I think I will place him in my favorites list finally, next to Kurosawa, De Sica and Tarantino. The way he presents the layers of his story was just perfect.

3. I love my 20-inch iMac G5Image: . I should be watching more DVDs on it.
