L'Wren Scott's Death Officially Ruled a Suicide
Fashion designer L'Wren Scott was tragically found hanging in her home by her assistant on Monday, March 17 and the cause of death has officially been ruled a suicide.
"The manner of death was determined to be suicide" by "hanging" a spokesperson for the New York City's chief medical examiner's office said in a statement, revealing that Scott's remains have also been picked up.
The last days of the designer were recently detailed in the New York Times by fashion critic and friend Cathy Horyn, who said that Scott was struggling "financially and professionally" before she took her own life.
However, despite the fact that she was planning to close her business, Horyn says she "wouldn't draw any conclusions from it about her state of mind."
Scott was also recently remembered by her longtime boyfriend Mick Jagger, who wrote a heartfelt message about her on Facebook.
