L.A. Reid not returning to The X Factor next year
In a surprising move, it has been revealed that Epic Records head L.A. Reid will not return next year for the season 3 of The X Factor. Reid has been a judge since the show's US debut in 2011. Reid is set to return to running Epic full time and put energy into finding new talent.

"Of course I will miss the show; In my opinion Simon attracts the best talent," added Reid. "But I'm looking forward to getting back to my core business and the responsibility of running Epic Records."
