Kurt Sutter is Developing a 'Sons of Anarchy' Spinoff

By Cassandra Rose ·

Still reeling from the Sons of Anarchy series finale?

While creator Kurt Sutter doesn't know when that prequel series he's planning will happen (although probably after The Bastard Executioner), he has begun developing a spinoff centered around another motorcycle gang: the Mayans.

Although he'd probably prefer we called it a companion series.

Sutter has been pretty tight-lipped about the details, but according to his Twitter account, the show will be different from the original.

Unlike Sons, it will not be set in Northern California and the "tone, pace [and] storytelling will be unique."

You can check out all of Sutter's tweets about the project below.
